FIRE PRECAUTIONS (WORKPLACE) REGULATIONS 1997 (as amended):
These regulations came into force on
1st December 1997 and were amended in 1999. Therefore if you run a business and employ people to work in your premises these regulations apply to you. A fire risk assessment must be carried out, and if more than 5 persons are employed to work in your premises, then to comply with the regulations you must produce the findings of the Fire Risk Assessment in writing.
